Two operators.
One embedded team.
Velix Group is Robin and Shanti. We are not a firm with a bench. We do not hire junior staff to execute what we sell. When you engage us for Advisory or Fractional & Project work, you get us — in your Slack, in your data, in your rooms that matter.
Robin built her career at the intersection of early-stage hustle and institutional scale. After two startups, she joined Google before it was a household name and spent eighteen years building a $2B+ global practice from the ground up.
She knows what separates companies that scale from companies that swirl: disciplined GTM architecture, knowing precisely who the right customer is, and the willingness to say what founders don't always want to hear. As Managing Partner of Velix Group, she works with founders to validate GTM readiness and build repeatable revenue engines. Her domain expertise spans SaaS, AI, Retail and eCommerce, AdTech, Media, and Travel.
Shanti's career spans two worlds that rarely talk to each other: the engineering discipline of Microsoft and Amazon, and the scrappiness of founding her own startup. At Velix Group, she brings both lenses to early-stage founders, delivering strategic planning and testing to market positioning, competitive dynamics, and go-to-market strategies. She helps teams strengthen their fundraising approach, optimize unit economics, and develop scalable growth plans.
She advises and mentors startups through Plug and Play, AI2, Golden Seeds and other angel groups. Her depth spans B2B and B2C, hardware and software, product and operations.
How we think about our work
Strategy without execution is a slide deck
Most advisory engagements produce a document. We produce a motion. The difference is whether someone stays to see if it runs.
Execution without strategy is just activity
We have seen founders spend eighteen months building a machine that goes in the wrong direction. Speed matters. So does orientation.
The model matters less than the moment
B2B, B2B2C, B2C — the fundamentals are the same. Product in market. Customers generating signal. A specific problem worth solving.
Named results, or we say so
We do not claim outcomes we cannot verify. Every result on this site is confirmed by the client named next to it.
We tell you when we're not the answer
The diagnostic call is real. If Advisory or Fractional & Project is not the right answer, we will say so and name who is.
No bench. No handoffs.
You hire us. You get us. There is no team behind us that executes what we sell.
What an engagement actually looks like
Diagnostic call — 30 minutes
We ask five questions. You tell us what is actually happening, not what you wish were happening. We decide together whether Advisory, Fractional & Project, or no engagement is the right answer.
Embed fast
For Advisory, we are working within days. For Fractional & Project, we run a rapid audit in the first phase — your data, your team structure, your current motion — before we build anything new.
Work in your systems, not ours
We operate in your Slack, your data tools, your existing stack. We do not require you to adopt a new project management system or reporting cadence that only we understand.
Build the motion, not the dependency
Everything we build, we document. When the engagement ends, your team should be able to run the motion without us. If they cannot, we have not done our job.
Report clearly — to you and to your board
We write clearly. We report on outcomes, not activity. If we are embedded with a PE-backed portco, we report back to the operating partner on the cadence they set.
Common questions
What is a fractional operator?
A fractional operator is a senior leader who embeds part-time across strategy, marketing, operations, and product inside a company that does not yet need a full-time CMO, COO, or chief of staff. At Velix, that means two partners embedded in one engagement, replacing a part-time CMO plus a fractional COO plus a strategy advisor.
How is Velix different from a fractional CMO?
A fractional CMO covers marketing. Velix covers marketing, operations, product, and AI in one engagement. Founders get one team instead of stitching three part-time leaders together.
Do you work with B2C companies?
Yes. We work across B2B, B2B2C, and B2C — from SaaS platforms to consumer marketplaces to CPG. The model matters less than the moment: product in market, real customers, and a growth problem worth solving.
When should a founder bring in a fractional operator?
The quarter before a board meeting, a raise, or a plan reset. Velix works with seed to Series B founders with real customer data and product in market. We do not work with pre-seed, pre-product, or pre-data companies.
How does Velix work with PE operating partners?
The PE firm refers a portco. The portco engages Velix for Fractional & Project work when that is the right answer. Velix reports back to the operating partner on a cadence you set. For firms who want a portfolio-level relationship, we offer an Operating Partner Seat. Learn more →
